Taking a cue from the present slowdown
in real estate sector, a leading research firm has predicted more than
12 per cent decline in absorption rate of office space in 2012 compared
to the robust growth experienced in 2011.
A report compiled by Jones Lang Lassalle
India, a leading real estate market research firm, said that, “While
construction activity is slated to continue at a high pace, leading to
19.0% higher completions in 2012 than in 2011, absorption is likely to
be subdued.
