Chennai continues to outwit other Indian major cities like, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi and Hyderabad in real estate growth, registering a staggering 204 per cent during the last five years.
According to National Housing Bank’s Residential Housing Price Index (NHB Residex), Chennai stood first with 304 points from the starting 100 points when the index was launched in 2007. Chennai is followed by Faridabad, Indore and Bhopal leaving big league players far behind.
