The Delhi Metro, which has covered 392 km so far, and is now in its third phase, will soon be complemented by a network of at least 14 monorail projects that are expected to come up within the next decade, according to Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit.
The announcement followed a meeting the CM had with Union Development Minister Kamal Nath, where the Union Urban Development Ministry mooted the proposal and gave a broad approval to the project, according to a report.
